There are fans to keep you cool and as the bedrooms are located to the back of the property they do keep cooler than the main living space of the property.

The Villa is set up on the hillside so benefits from amazing views to the Mediterranean and also faces to the south so gets the sun all day long.. its a 10 minute walk down to the beach but please note that this is down hill and can be a strenuous walk back up.. but this is why this Villa benefits from the amazing views of the med and surrounding area, a local taxi will cost as little as 7€ to take you back home..

Casa Laura is situated in authentic rural Andalucia, yet with all the amenities of a modern villa. A private concrete road leads to the villa which is all on one level, offering disabled access throughout the house, as well as the gardens and patio/pool areas. The house comprises of extensive kitchen, 2 living rooms, 3 large bedrooms, 3 designer crafted bathrooms, a wet-room,and a utility room, all connected through a wide collonaded corridor. To the exterior are landscaped gardens, five extensive patio areas, multiple open-air dining facilities, a courtyard, a gas-fired barbecue and the pool.

The house benefits from gentle summer breezes which cool the house down on hot summer days. The accommodation is designed to be as luxurious as possible. We think that we’ve thought of everything that you need for a perfect holiday. The house and land are in a stunning position,and is not too far the town of Almunecar on the stunning Costa Tropical Spain and the beaches- its about 15 minutes drive. There’s a small bar within walking distance from the villa through the Avocado groves, and more bars and shops in nearby Torrecuevas. Pena Escrita National Park is a 10km drive inland with its public pool and animal exhibits. A car is required due to the poor public transport services, but as the road from Almunecar is fully tarmaced even the smallest size vehicle will have no trouble reaching the villa. The villa is great for children as there are no steps to negotiate, and as we have Sky TV, DVD, XBOX, there’s always something to keep the children occupied if required. Do bring your own Sky card. We also supply a iPod/MP3 player base.

Accessibility
The villa was designed with disabled access in mind. As a result the property is on one level with no stairs. There are gentle slopes on the patios leading down to the pool area. One bathroom has a wet room complete with a seat which makes the excellent shower facilities accessible for those with mobility issues.The house is accessible for all forms of motorised transport. On every side the villa is surrounded by shaded terraces with tranquil areas to sit and read a book or to relax on your holiday with a glass of wine.The views from all sides of the property are stunning down to the Costa Tropical sea front. The area is known as the Costa Tropical because of the all year round sunny climate. Almunecar and its handsome Moorish castle sit on a small hill between the mouths of two rivers. Almunecar has managed to retain the atmosphere and character of an old Spanish town with winding narrow streets and tapas bars. Besides tourism, fishing and the growing of tropical fruits remain at the heart of the town’s day to day life. To the west of the town is the Punta de la Mona, a pine clad headland sheltering the attractive Marina del Este which offers a range of water sports. Beyond is the pretty horse shoe bay of La Herradura. Along the coastline are numerous beaches and sheltered coves. To the east is the whitewashed village of Salobrena with the peaks of the Sierra Nevada in the background. One and half hour drive to the ski resorts of the Sierra Nevada or the beautiful countryside of the Alpujjaras.
